Rickshaw Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

rickshawcabernet2011The 2011 Rickshaw Cabernet Sauvignon is 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc sourced from vineyards in Napa Valley, Sonoma, Paso Robles and Mendocino. Rickshaw Wines are sourced from up to 24 different lots of grapes (different vineyards, different sections of a vineyard, aged for varying times in new or used oak barrels), the wine itself is produced with the minimum amount of production techniques necessary. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a product of  good grapes and the blending skills of the winemaker. The alcohol content is a very precise 13.37%.

Solon says: A light blackberry nose gives way to a smokey berry flavor with a moderate tannic finish. This would be a great hamburger wine.

I don’t think we are talking Big Mac’s here, I think we are talking the winner of your towns annual Hamburger cook-off, gourmet burgers. A stand out Cabernet Sauvignon for a stand out burger.
