The Alberti 154 really shows you what Torrontes is all about. It’s grown in the shadows of the lofty Famatina region of Mendoza which has warm days and cool nights due to its higher elevations. Combine that with being from the amazing 2009 vintage – and it all comes together and smacks you in the face with freshness, balance, and full-bodied awesomeness!
It’s pale yellow in color, smells of ripe pears and refreshes your palate with orange, mango, lemon and a graceful, dry finish that touches on floral.
Its balanced acidity pairs nicely with grilled shrimp or a turkey sandwich.
