Cellar No. 8 Cabernet 2005

A friend of mine told me about the Cellar No. 8 wines and I decided to give both the 05 Zinfandel and 05 Cabernet a try. Soon will taste and review the 2006 Zinfandel. Both of these wines can easily be found for purchase online or at your local Trader Joe’s.
This was just another great cheap Cabernet. I’m always happy when I can find a good cheap red wine for around $10 and this fits into that category.
On the nose of this wine I smell vanilla, blueberry and some tobacco. I tasted vanilla and blueberry with maybe a little leather. The finish was warm (not hot though) and had more of the leather with a bit of cherry. Very nice inky red color to it.
