I picked this wine up at my local wine store that just opened in Great Falls, VA – Maison Du Vin. Its a great little wine shop that has complimentary wine tasting every day through its wine dispensing machines. Going to a wine shop where you know you will be able to taste 10-20 different wines at any given time is always a fun experience.
On to the wine. I picked this Argentina Cabernet up at random and I am glad I did. On the nose I got blackberry, spice and chocolate. On the taste I got more oak (but not to much), blackberry, plum and a little chocolate and vanilla. This wine is very smooth and well balanced. The finish was light but carried through very well.
