Finally a great merlot for under $10. I was very surprised by the quality if the Tin Roof Merlot. I bought this wine at costco just because of the price and rating by the Wine Enthusiast. I still wasn’t expecting much but after tasting it was I very happy with my purchase and decided to buy a few extra bottles for my collection. Its currently on sale at wine.com for $9.99 making it a great deal.
The nose is full of black cherry and plum. On the taste you will notice a little tobacco, spice and chocolate. Its very smooth and well balanced.

Just last night I enjoyed a bottle of Tin Roof. Costco has been a Godsend in terms of affordable (and very good) wine. Tin Roof has become one of our favorites.
i’ve tried tin roof. good call on this wine. it is very smooth and balanced.
Can anyone tell me where I can buy ‘tin roof’ red wine in the u.k.
have trailed the internet but can’t seem to find it.
