Mirassou Pinot Noir 2007

I recently had this wine when I was out to dinner with some friends.  We looked over the menu and because we were all going to get the Salmon we decided this wine would be our best choice.  Our waiter brought us a small sample so we could try it first.  The Mirassou was good but not incredible.  It was smooth with berry flavors and oak.  It went well with our food – Calamari, Salad and Salmon.   For the price this was a great wine that I will have again soon.
